Bob the builder – can he fix it?

When *Bob was a little boy he had big dreams for himself and his family. Unfortunately due to financial problems his dreams of studying further could not be realized. Yet somehow he has found a way to become one of the best builders on site. He started at the bottom and slowly he started climbing the ranks, and today he is providing for his family the way he yearned to his entire life.

His journey started when he was 16, there was a construction project in a township near him who needed workers with little or no experience to dig the trenches for the building. *Bob went to apply as there were some financial problems at home. To his surprise he was granted the job and soon work started.

Unfortunately money at home was tight , and soon a weekend job became a full time job. *Bob was devastated, he loved school and wanted a better life for him and his family and he did not see a future in the building industry. To his surprise his superiors saw that he was actually a very skilled worker and took him under their wings.

Jeremy started climbing  the ‘’ladder’’ on site and before he knew it, he was promoted to foreman. Even though building was not one of *Bob’s passions, it soon became one and looking back  *Bob can’t imagine doing anything else. He is in a financial position to provide for his family the way he always dreamed

of and he is very happy in is workplace.

Talking to *Bob really made me realize how lucky we are to be in the position that we are in.

The advice that *Bob  gave us , was to never ever give up and always push through to the end because even though it might not seem like there is light at the end of the tunnel, there always is, people just can’t always see it since we are very short sighted and we don’t always understand what God has planned for us.
